How_to_Install_the_Kaltura_Capture_Application

Hello, and thank you for joining the Kaltura learning tutorial video. In this video, I'll demonstrate how to install the Kaltura Personal Capture Application. Please note minimum system requirements to setup Kaltura Personal Desktop Application are, Windows 7 to 10, 64-bit and above, or Mac 10.10 to 10.13. The Kaltura Personal Capture application needs to be downloaded and installed once. It will automatically launch after that. To download the Kaltura Personal Capture software, login to your Kaltura media space or to your Kaltura application framework extension, such as Blackboard, Moddle, Share Point or Jaive. Select Kaltura Capture from the add new drop down menu. You will be redirected to a download page. If you are installing Kaltura Personal Capture software for Windows, click download for Windows to download the application. Double click on Kaltura Capture_nnn.msi file. The Kaltura Personal Capture setup screen is displayed. Click Next on the welcome screen. On the initializing setting screen, click Next. If you would like to change the location of your stored recordings, enter the new location in the recordings folder field. Click Next to begin the installation, click Finish on the final screen to complete it. The Kaltura Personal Capture desktop recorder software is now installed and ready to be used. If you're installing Kaltura Personal Capture software for Mac, click Download for Mac to download the application. Double click on the DMG file to open. The window will appear. Drag the Kaltura Personal Capture application icon to the Applications folder. From this point on you can launch Kaltura Personal Capture from the Add New menu, or double click on the Kaltura Personal Capture icon located on your desktop Thank you for watching.
